Stingrays Live: A Live Webcam Experience
Experience the underwater world like never before with Stingrays Live. This educational program, developed by California Academy of Sciences, allows you to switch between two high-definition webcams to observe and learn about over 10 species of fish.
One webcam focuses on the mesmerizing cownose and honeycomb rays as they gracefully circle the mangrove lagoon exhibit, always on the lookout for their next meal. The other webcam brings you a live feed of the feeding sessions, happening every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 pm PT.
Whether it's day or night, you can enjoy these live cams, providing you with captivating views of the underwater world. In case the screen appears dark, it means it's nighttime, so make sure to tune back in during daylight hours for more action.
Stingrays Live is brought to you by the California Academy of Sciences, the only place in the world where you can find an aquarium, planetarium, natural history museum, and a 4-story rainforest, all under one roof. To learn more about the Academy and to get tickets, visit their website at calacademy.org.
Please note that the quality of your wireless network will affect the performance of the app, and data rates may apply. It is recommended to use a Wi-Fi connection for the best experience.
